Savoury pancakes are a popular breakfast item in India and drawing inspiration from there LENcakes premix was created using Mung beans as the key ingredient. With 22gms of protein in 100gms of LENcakes, they are a great protein filled brekky or a quick snack anytime. Enjoy them on their own with a dip or create a meal by topping it up with a choice of your favourite salad or veggies.
These LENcakes also make an instant Pizza base and crepes.
They are 100% plant based and suitable for Vegans.
INGREDIENTS: Green Mung Bean (ground), Cumin, Coriander powder, Ginger powder, Fennel powder, Turmeric powder, Bicarb soda, Citric acid, Salt, Asafoetida.

DIRECTIONS TO USE
1.Weigh 30gm of LENcakes™ premix in a mixing bowl.
2. Add 50mls of water to make a smooth pancake like batter.
3. Heat a frypan on medium heat and add 1 tsp of cooking oil or spray oil.
4.Pour the LENcake™ batter in the frypan and spread to make a thick pancake.
5.Cook for 2 mins on one side and then flip to the other side and cook for another 1 min.
6. Serve warm with your choice of topping or with a dip.
Tip: To make a veggie pancake, add chopped up onion, capsicum, cabbage to the batter, mix well and then make pancakes
